The Blacknose shark belongs to the Carcharhinidae family. It has an average size of 1.4m for 10 kg. It has a maximum lifespan of 19 years. It mate in late May to June. It can be fished all year round. The Black Nose Shark has a slender body with a long rounded snout and large eyes. The inhalant and exhaling openings of the nostrils are separated by a skin flap. The coloring is a yellowish grey to greenish on the top and white to yellow below. A characteristic dark spot at the tip of the snout is more or less visible, especially in young sharks.
